shakta tantra pilgrimage
January 8 - 21, 2019

A devotional journey into the Shakta Tantra traditions. Exploring Kamakhya from south to north and all the delights in between. Kamakhya is the goddess of desire and represented as the yoni or womb of creation. She is both Kali and Lalita Tripura Sundari. Two faces of the same coin.

I am delighted to take people on this very special pilgrimage as it is a route that I have personally traveled many times. This pilgrimage does require some prerequisite study in the Sri Vidya tradition. This will provide the foundation needed to make this once in a lifetime experience. Our time together will include rich teachings, practices, yoga and the tantric arts. While in India we will travel with respect for the culture. Showing the same respect as if we were a guest in someone’s house. This will also ensure that we move through space and time with more grace and ease.

We will meet in Vizag (Vishakapatnam) on January 8. We will spend the day to shop and prepare getting proper attire and taking care of any logistical needs. It is advised that you fly to Chennai, Mumbai or Delhi where you will have to take an additional flight to Vishakapatnam. Included in the price is travel within India, lodging, food (some meals are not included), group pujas/fire ceremonies and the performance arts festival. A passport and a visa is required to travel to India. I am asking everyone to purchase their airfare after November 11/23.
